I’ve been doing a lot of thinking over the last few months. I want to change. A lot. The first step, as I’ve previously stated, is changing my lifestyle and going vegan. And although that may be the biggest change next year, there’s a whole lot more I want to do. So, because it’s one of my favorite things to do, I made a list.
1. Go Vegan – The diet will go into effect as of January 4, and the lifestyle will be a more gradual change.
2. Learn to Cook – I cook now, but only to my standards. And really, that just isn’t good enough. Through practice, I want to become a better cook.
3. Bake More – I love baking, and people say I’m pretty good (which surprises me) so I want to do it more often.
4. Start Doing Yoga – How long have I been anti-exercise? Forever? That needs to change, so I thought I would do slow moving exercise to start off, and try yoga. I know not all yoga is slow moving, but I need to start somewhere.
5. Drink More Tea – As much as I love my carbonated beverage, that’s not how you move forward in a healthy lifestyle. Tea, you will be my new best friend.
6. Draw More!!! – I can’t emphasize this one more. I feel like I’m losing my drive to be creative because I don’t feel I have that outlet at work as much anymore. I need to get in gear!
7. Give Back – There’s nothing that gets to me more than an animal in need, so as a follow up to #6, I want to sell my art and raise money for rescues and animal charities. I already do that now and I’d love to give more.
8. Learn More About Auto Maintenance – I always thought I would never need to know any of this. Man, was I wrong. I really need, and want, to learn more about keeping my car maintained properly on my own.
